Together let’s run to beat endometriosis

Press release Saint-Alban, June 06, 2018

A Breton laboratory committed to women’s health, Claripharm organized a women’s race on June 24 in Saint-Quay-Portrieux.

Running is good, running for a cause is better! And for this laboratory specialized in the rules, the cause was to fight a disease too little known, endometriosis.

1 in 10 women have endometriosis. 70% of women who suffer from it have crippling chronic pain and 40% of them experience fertility problems. Today too few solutions exist to overcome or improve the daily lives of women affected by endometriosis, especially since it takes an average of 7 years to diagnose the disease.

In partnership with the EndoFrance association, the Claripharm laboratory wanted to share a united and friendly moment to give visibility to the disease. The Quinocéenne race takes place every year in Saint-Quay-Portrieux in Brittany. This race, open to all, offers everyone to run for the cause they want.

The Claripharm Laboratory therefore invited women (and men) to unite around endometriosis.

And, we are very happy to have won the challenge this year! To win, we had to get as many participants as possible to run for endometriosis.
Endometriosis is therefore elected official cause for 2019 and above all, part of the funds for the 2019 race will be donated to the EndoFrance association. These funds will allow the association to finance scientific research projects around the disease.

The EndoFrance association was present on the site to answer all questions about the disease. We look forward to seeing you next year, still in Saint-Quay-Portrieux, to make this disease even more visible.

Claripharm & EndoFrance, together to beat endometriosis

In 2018, Claripharm made a commitment to EndoFrance for a cause : endometriosis.

The Claripharm team traveled to Saint-Quay-Portrieux (in Brittany) to run for this cause during the race The Quinocean. Through our network, our friends, our families, and you, we have gathered as many people as possible to run for this cause.

The goal of the race is each year to run for the cause that everyone wants. And each year there is a winning cause which then becomes the official cause of the following year. Thanks to all of you, in 2018 we won. This year 2019, the official cause of the race is endometriosis and we are very happy!

Why did we choose to get involved in this cause?

Claripharm is a laboratory committed to the intimate health of women.

Today we are committed to lifting the taboos around female intimacy and offering women healthy, innovative, quality products that meet a real need; from the first period to menopause.

Endometriosis is a disease that affects nearly 10% of women in France. And yet, there are no definitive treatments for endometriosis today.

By participating in the race, you are joining with us to beat the disease. Indeed, € 1 will be donated to EndoFrance for each participation.

Why EndoFrance?

We have chosen to collaborate with this association because it has been campaigning for this disease for 17 years. Endofrance is represented in 16 regions of France with more than 55 representatives and active volunteers. They are also accompanied by specialists and doctors and have a scientific committee made up of experts in the disease. Thanks to them, the media are talking more and more about the disease and medical conferences are more numerous.

The donations collected during the race will allow the association to invest in research on endometriosis.

This year again, let’s mobilize for this disease. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday June 23 in Saint-Quay-Portrieux to run for endometriosis. We are counting on you ! Every participation counts.

A big thank-you.

The Claripharm Team
