Before and after each use,
deposit your menstrual cup,
stem towards the bottom of the box
Fill your Claricup Box
of water to the line
Lid open, heat
5 min in the microwave at 750 Watts
Let your cup cool down
et voila, your cup is (really) clean!

If you have followed the operating instructions correctly, total evaporation of water is not a problem, but rather good news! This is because the disinfection was effective. Don’t be affraid
The water you use must be loaded with limescale. We invite you to use mineral water.
You have most certainly put your microwave in the grill position. You are not the only one to whom this happens, be very vigilant in the future 😉
Make sure to respect the disinfection for 5 minutes at 750 Watts. It may be that your microwave is too strong or that you have exceeded the water level indicated inside the Claricup box.

Do I have to sterilize my cup after each use?
We recommend sterilizing your cup before each insertion or at least once a day. The simple and good reason being that bacteria can remain on your menstrual cup for several days, it is therefore preferable to disinfect it as frequently as possible. If you do not have this possibility, clean your menstrual cup with a mild soap, such as our intimate shower gel Clarigyna or our cup cleaning gel ClariWash.
My microwave doesn't have 750 watts of power, what can I do?
It doesn’t matter. Still disinfect your cup at the lower or higher power, always for 5 minutes.
Can I disinfect a cup of another brand with the Claricup box?
Of course. The sterilization effect will be just as effective, however, we cannot guarantee the quality of our competitors’ silicone and possible degradation of your cup if it is of poor quality.
