Women’s intimate hygiene

Toilet training is one of the first lessons transmitted to us as a child.
Yet, have you really been told how to take care
of your private parts ?

A woman’s intimacy is punctuated by many adventures:
rules, sexual relations,
sometimes a few irritations or infections, or even childbirth.

Because this intimate area is fragile but also because its pH is different from the rest of your skin,
it is essential to give him specific care.

Take care of your vaginal flora

The vaginal flora is composed of bacteria, the “lactobacilli” whose mission is to protect against infections. These lactobacilli create a barrier in the intimate mucosathrough the production of lactic acid which blocks the development of bad germs.

Gestures to avoid

  • Over-cleaning. Two toilets per day (morning and evening) are more than enough. Too frequent intimate cleansing damages your vaginal barrier.
  • Washing the inside of the vagina is too aggressive for the vaginal flora and, on the contrary, encourages the development of bacteria.
  • Clothes that are too tight
  • Unsuitable shower gels or soaps (unsuitable composition, perfumes, dyes, paraben…).
  • Wet clothes whose humidity encourages the proliferation of bacteria.
  • Stress and lack of sleep.
